How Long?

Does anybody know exactly how long a cat is in heat for? My sister's cat went into heat about a week ago. And let me tell you something, she is the most annoying cat while she is in heat! She is so loud! Which I guess figures since normally her meow is so pathetic and sounds so weak. Haha.

She walks around the house just screaming!! I feel sorry for my sister. She has to sleep with her in her room. Sucks for her.

Xena And Birds

This morning I took Xena out when I woke up. Usually, Nick takes her out, but I decided to get out of bed first. So, I let her out the back door and I didn't put her on the line. I always just let her run around the yard to do her business. She usually stays in the yard and doesn't take off. Well, this morning was different. Xena decided to chase after a bunch of birds that were just sitting on the grass socializing. When she sees birds, she's gone! Usually it's geese that she chases after and she ignores other birds. Not this time.

I guess I will have to start putting her on the line.

Dog Whisperer

I've been watching the Dog Whisperer lately and it's very interesting! Sometimes I wonder how he does it. I mean, some of those dogs I would want to just give up on and walk away! How does he have the patience? I think he is so amazing. Sometimes I want him to come and train my dog. She just doesn't listen at all. Well, maybe sometimes. If you have food around you.

Dumpster Kitty

My sister has an outside cat named Teeny. She's a really sweet cat. Well, on 4th of July, she got to enjoy some tasty chicken that my sister threw away into the dumpster out front. It was really a site to see. Teeny jumped into this big ol' dumpster and took out the big piece of chicken! It was so cute! So, I snapped a quick picture of her!

She's so cute! She looks like a savage in this picture!! At least we know she enjoyed the tasty BBQ too!

Kittens!!

This morning the kittens looked so adorable. So, I just had to let everyone see them! These are just two of the six that DC had. Next week they will be exactly 8 weeks old. It's so amazing how much they have grown! They still are small, but boy do they cause havoc! I love kittens. They are so cute, and then they grow up.

Killer Toad

So, the other day Jamie found a toad. Before he made it hop away so the dogs didn't eat it, I had to take a picture. I've never seen a toad this big! It was so awesome.

I just thought I would share this cute little toad with everyone.

Horseplay

The dogs are upstairs right now playing. I swear, it sounds like someone is being murdered up there! I am so glad they get along. Xena loves her new friends. Sometimes it can be a little annoying because Xena likes to just push her way into my sister's room to get to Ruby. Xena doesn't care what time she does it. One time I caught her trying to barge in there at like 2 in the morning!! I didn't let her because my sister and her husband were sleeping. Ha, should have let her just barge in there and play with Ruby.

I recently got a sign to put in the yard letting people know that there's a dog. I was chosen because I had an interest in a "Dog in Yard" sign. Xena is a very friendly dog, but at times can be very wild. She loves people and she loves to jump on them. Well, that's not a good thing. Especially if someone gets hurt. I just don't have the funds to pay for doctor bills!! That's why I needed a sign. And this sign is wonderful! The signs come in all kinds of different colors. Like, grass green, chocolate brown, or cobalt blue! I picked green. Only because its my favorite color. They also provide the mounting hardware which includes brass screws and cable ties. This company has a Good Karma Policy. What does this mean? They send you your sign FIRST and then ask you to pay. How wonderful is that? Just make sure you pay! They ship their signs for free and it gets to you super fast! I can't believe how fast I got mine!

So, if you're interested in getting one of these dog in yard signs, check them out! It's fast and cheap! Plus it'll make your yard look pretty! I love mine!

Xena and DC

Xena and Dc have gotten very close lately. It's so adorable to watch these two play. Xena will walk up to DC and just start cleaning her. How cute is that?

I love seeing pictures of dogs with cats...getting along. There are some times where DC is very annoyed with Xena and will slap her across the nose. Xena will continue to go back for more. I don't know what I'd do without these two.

River Action

So the other day we took Xena to the river. Man, did she have a blast. Anyway, I wanted to post just a couple pictures of her having fun in the sun.

This first picture is her out in the water with Nick playing with a stick he found.

I thought that was so cute. How could I not take a picture of that?

Anyway, this is Xena swimming out to Nick on a different day we were at the river.

I love taking Xena to the river. I know it's her favorite spot to go. Just saying the word "river" gets her so excited!! I wonder if one day I could get Kentucky Derby Party Invitations and take her with me. Now, that would be fun. I'd dress her up and put a fancy little hat on her. Aww!! With some sunglasses. Oh my god. That would be adorable! Anyway, I better get going. I need to feed Xena still. I'm sure she's plenty hungry.

So, I have a complaint about cats. I think they are disgusting. They are suppose to be clean animals, but I've seen them do some NASTY things. For instance, just a few minutes ago, Nick's cat just went to the bathroom on the carpet. Number 2. If she sees clothing on the ground, she pees on it.

WHY WHY WHY??!?

She's disgusting. And she smells. Urgh. Nick is getting rid of her soon. His coworker wants her. That poor lady. She doesn't know what she's getting into. I told Nick to tell her. But he thinks the cat will be better and not do those things because she'll be in a bigger environment. Psh, yeah right. Look at the cats in my mom's house. They moved to a bigger environment. You know what a bigger environment means? More places for them to be disgusting in.

Urgh I hate cats.

Vacuum: FIXED!

So...Nick's vacuum has been broken for....lets just say months. Finally, I took it completely apart..and WOOHOO I fixed it! My hands are completely black from pulling out wads of dog hair. It was so backed up. No wonder the poor vacuum didn't want to work anymore. Needed a good cleaning.

So I vacuumed the bedroom. The carpet in our room was black from dog fur. I gave Xena a bath and when she got out, she rubbed all over the carpet. It's actually really gross how much she's been shedding.

That is the reason why I don't want a house with carpet. Her fur is everywhere. Urgh. Maybe I'll just shave her. Now that would be cute. haha.

American Idol is starting to make me mad. I can't believe that country girl is STILL there. I can't stand her and I don't think she can sing at all. Poor Amanda is gone. I loved her. Her voice was so different. I'm just glad Carly is still there. She better not get kicked off. Her voice is the best one there.

Urrgh. I'm going to go give the vacuum it's final test. Wish me luck.

A Day In Xena's Paws

Today my mommy wanted to take pictures of me. I didn't know what to think. I do the normal things I usually do, but today my mommy wanted to show the world. Maybe I'll get a special treat. Or a trip to Petsmart! My mommy knows that's my favorite place!!

First my mommy caught me sleeping!! Uh oh! I'm so glad I wasn't drooling!!

I went to go see my daddy 'cause he was home for lunch. My mommy followed me in there. I got mommy and daddy time! That's my favorite part of the day.

My mommy played with me for a little bit. Oh I love how that blanket feels on my fur!! I hope it's not real! Or at least not another puppy!!!Maybe it's made out of cats..Mmm my favorite!

I got out of bed and decided to give myself a little cleaning. Ohh how I love cleaning myself. My mommy thinks it's gross and usually makes me leave the room!

I got word from another doggy named Star that she magically jumped through one of these plastic things that I love to chew on! I wanted to try it, but I couldn't fit! I got stuck once I got my head through!!! I better not try to go in a competition with Star!! She's so athletic!! Other puppies shouldn't try this at home!!!

That cat tried to snuggle with me. I have to get along with her because she's my daddys. But sometimes what daddy doesn't know can't hurt him!!! That kitty was getting mad at me! Even though she's the one that jumped on me!

Of course I had to teach her a lesson!!! She scratchy at me!!! Bad kitty!!!!

Uh oh! What happened to kitty???????? Did I eat her all up??? Did my mommy have to clean up the mess? Was daddy mad at me?? Did mommy have to superglue the kitty back together???

Sick As A Dog

These past couple of days have been terrible. My throat is very sore and my nose is all stuffed up. I woke up this morning feeling better..but Nick told me I still sound terrible. Haha..to think I thought I sounded fine.

Today I am going to be strictly working on my site. I'm going to spend the whole day dropping cards. Yay! What fun that is. I was going to do it yesterday, but when I looked at the screen I just said, nooo I can't do it I feel terrible. But today I'm sucking it up and doing it.

I'm hoping that by tomorrow I feel better. Since I woke up feeling better but not great. I should be fine by tomorrow! Lets keep our fingers crossed!!

Yesterday I was talking to my mom about the move. Nick and I really, really need to start packing. He says he has all these empty "crates" but I just don't see how everything will fit in them. He has about maybe 7 or 8 of them. He said when he moved in here that's all he had. No boxes. But he wasn't moving across country. He probably didn't put his clothes in anything because I'm sure he didn't move everything in one go. Tonia and I are going to go on craigslist and find people that give away moving boxes. Forget about what Nick says. He doesn't know anything. haha. I'm going to do what my mom said and just pack the clothes I won't wear from now until the move. Very, very smart thinking. They don't call her a mother for nothing. =P

My Dead Body

So..I was looking at my sister's site and saw how much her dead body is worth. I decided to try it out just for fun. =D

$5200.00

Wow, I didn't know I was worth that much. Hahah. I wonder who would get that money.

Anyway, I've been feeling really, really bad these past few days. Yesterday was TERRIBLE. I would try sitting at the computer but I had such a bad headache that everything was blurry. So, all it did was hurt my eyes more. Then I decided to take a hot shower. Ha, what a bad idea. While I was in the shower, I got really dizzy and lightheaded. I fell over. It was not fun at all. Especially since I was the only one home. I got scared for a minute. I sat there for about ten minutes and finally got out. I was up and down all night long. I hated it. I hope today will be better. I don't want another day like yesterday. =/

Tonight Nick and I are going grocery shopping. I am very excited about that. It'll be nice to have some food in the house. Then we can stop eating so much junk food. I told him last night I was tired of fast food. So instead of eating that junk, last night he brought me home fruit salad and a veggie tray. It was good. =D

Anyway, I think I'm going to go clean up the living room. I don't know why. Xena will just tear up more toys and get the stuffing all over the place again. This is why I don't clean it as often as I should. =(
